About Us
Namibia
Freeland Tours was founded by Arno Meyer,
living out a life long dream of introducing this beautiful
and enticing country to as many people as possible.
His love of the country and country living is noticeable in
his approach to nature and conservation. He was later
joined by his son Tertius who is also a dedicated lover of
the great outdoors and who share his father's outlook.
Hunting is just one of the many facets of farming, as
farmers have to provide food and meat for themselves and
their labourers.
From years of experience and vast knowledge of our country,
we also know what is important for you, our customer.
Therefore we make use of air-conditioned vehicles with lots
of leg room, we only use the best accommodation available
and if you want to camp we use tents in which you can stand up
straight, we look after your every need and send you home as
a friend.

Arno, born and
bred in Namibia, grew up on a farm in the Okahandja
district. He started a farming supply business back in
1980, but his love for the outdoors got the better of him
and he decided to team up his love of the outdoors with his
means of living and then started Namibia Freeland Tours. Arno also takes care of the management of the
company.

Tertius,
born and bred in Namibia grew up on his dad's farm. He
learned to hunt and also learned to conserve . . . He
joined the hunting business as a hunter in training shortly
after he
matriculated, and lived out his love of the outdoors,
while learning the trade from one of Namibia's most
respected hunting farms and consequently qualified as a
professional hunter. With his more than 9 yrs of
hunting experience and working with hunters from around the
globe as a freelance guide, he eventually joined forces with his
Dad and brought with him his knowledge and experience of the hunting safari business. |
